Man, I have been banging my head against the keyboard for 2 days trying to get things to work as smoothly as this (particularly with the first page after sign-in not having the updated currentUser). Thanks very much. The only obvious thing I didn’t do was the whole new Vue instance inside the onAuthStateChanged function.

Any chance you could walk me through why you did that, and what it affects?
